It is with deep regret that we are informing you of the CANCELLATION of the AAQG, RMC & SAE G-14 AAQSC Joint meetings scheduled for March 9 – 12 in Long Beach, California.
The decision to cancel was based on the latest data being reported and the fact that the California governor has declared a state of emergency over the Coronavirus (COVID-19). This decision was made to ensure the safety of everyone involved.
Hotel Room Cancellation: We ask everyone to contact the Hilton Long Beach Hotel direct (562-983-3400) to cancel their reservations immediately to avoid the 72-hour cancellation fee. Be sure to obtain confirmation of your cancellation.
In order to support ongoing work, we are offering the following options:
- Individual Team Meetings: Individual teams are welcome to replace their face-to-face meetings with virtual WebEx meetings. Please contact Amanda Myers or Becky Lemon if you would like assistance scheduling a WebEx. If an individual team would prefer to meet face-to-face, they should make arrangements to meet at a company location.
- AAQG Leadership Meeting: The AAQG Leadership Meeting (invitation only) will be replaced with a WebEx meeting on Wednesday, March 11. A separate invitation will be issued to AAQG Leaders.
- G-14 AAQSC Meeting: The G-14 AAQSC Meeting will be replaced with a WebEx meeting on Thursday, March 12. A separate invitation will be issued.
We recognize that the timing of this decision may have significantly inconvenienced many of you. However, this decision was made out of a deep concern for the health and well-being of the entire AAQG, RMC & SAE G-14 AAQSC Community.
